This event has ended.
We’re changing up our rally destinations with this series. Rather than head off to somewhere for a coffee, we’re keeping it in the family and heading off to a fellow member’s house to for a guided tour of their personal car collection. You’d be amazed what your fellow members have stashed away.
For our first rally, we’re heading north through the twisty roads on our way to New Paltz to meet up with the esteemed Mr. Mac Dorris. Mac’s been a member since flip phones and he has a wonderfully eclectic collection of Porsche’s, Lotus’ and other quirky things, which he squirrels away in his historic barn.
And sure, Mac is a car guy, but he likes bicycles more. Mac is an accomplished cyclist and the man behind
The Ride For Mental Health - an annual cycling ride that raises money for the McLean Hospital and its mission to help those with mental illnesses. For those that also like to ride, after we tour Mac’s collection, he is going to guide us on a cycling run through his favorite local roads. CCC will shuttle your bicycle to Mac’s so you can enjoy the ride there and back in one of our cars or your own. If you don’t want to sweat in lycra, that’s completely fine. The rally will continue to lunch, sans bicycles - its power gels for that lot.
RSVP to rally to Mac’s. It’s worth the trip and impossible not to love him. Transportation is NOT provided for this outing.
