The Isle of Man TT is truly an unbelievable site. For more than a century motorcycle racers have been competing for the fastest time on two wheels around a 37-mile “track”, known as “The Mountain Course” which is really just the public roads through this self-governing island floating in the Irish Sea. The course cuts through neighborhoods lined with sidewalks, bus stops and butcher shops and then carries the racers through the mountains regions. One error, one laps of judgement and these riders become legend for reasons unwanted. But get it right and they become members of a small society, like that of men who have walked on the moon.
Nothing like the Isle of Man TT race exists. How long the actual TT will exist is up for contention. But, at CCC, we believe the TT is not about the danger. It is about watching motorcycle riders who are brave enough to truly live, to have a goal and achieve it and to put everything on the line to prove to themselves more than anyone else, that they are capable.
