This event has ended.

Whether you're a regular track rat or a total noob, in a car or on a bike, if you're looking to stretch the legs of your special machine, CCC's Track Day and High Performance School has you covered. We run two groups each for cars and bikes and have something for drivers and vehicles of all levels. We're all out there to have fun, we'll push the limits, we'll have a laugh and raise a glass when it's all done

No prior track experience? No problem! We have instructors on track to meet you where you are and work with you to improve your driving and riding at all levels. You also do not need a track weapon to get out on the track, your sports car or even your daily driver will get you around just fine.

FAQ:

What equipment do I need?

Bikes: Full safety gear; Snell M2010 Helmet or newer, Leathers, Boots, Gloves and Spine protection is highly recommended
Cars: Snell SA2010 helmet or newer. Fire protection suits, boots and gloves recommended in all caged race cars.

Do I need a dedicated track car for this?
No, street cars work great too. While it's a great opportunity to see what your sports car can do, you can even get around in your daily driver. We've even had people show up in performance SUVs. While serious, regular track use will demand some upgrades in the novice run group, wear on your car will be minimal.

What do I need to do to prepare my car/bike?
Complete our tech form [LINK HERE IF WE HAVE IT ONLINE]. If you know your way around cars, you can self certify it, that's fine, otherwise a friendly shop or CCC can help. The primary concern is that the car is well maintained in good shape, tires and brakes should have good life in them, everything should be tight and safety components like the battery tie down and fuel system must all be in good order.

What if I don't have a car that works for this?
Book a car with us! We have two track prepped Caymans and a Z4 M Coupe that you can book for points, or if you're looking to work your way up to a competition license, we have Spec Miata Race Cars available for rental.

Will there be food?
Yes! Chef Jesse will join us to cook up lunch and we'll have bottled water and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Where do I stay?
Some of the team will be camping at the track and the rest will be staying in nearby hotels if they're not making the drive up on Friday Morning. The most convenient is the Holiday Inn Express in Oneonta just 15 miles away or if you're looking to make it more of an event out of it, check out Scribner's Lodge on the way up.

How does it work at the track?
We run two run groups each for cars and bikes:

Novice Cars: Get the foundations of race craft with hands-on instruction from CCC's team. You'll learn the racing line, the basics of vehicle dynamics and weight transfer and how to safely get the most out of your car on the road and track. Any well maintained car is eligible. No prior experience required, we can accommodate drivers of all levels.

Intermediate and Advanced Cars: Drivers that have track experience, but are looking to sharpen their tools will have a wide open track to work with. New York Safety track is loaded with a variety of challenging, technical elements making it a great place to dial in skills to take to any track. Back in the paddock, share your war stories and tips as well as video and data if you have it with fellow drivers and the CCC team to find those extra tenths.

Novice Bikes: Our NYST Trackday instructor practically lives at the track and can get riders of all levels on the pace. There's always a party in the paddock where experienced drivers share tips to get everyone on the pace.

Advanced Bikes: There's no such thing as too much time in the saddle. Keep the skills sharp and test and tune your track weapon to move yourself up the grid at your next race. Mike and Phelim will be dialing in their new rockets and  skills to handle them and we usually get a few AMA racers dropping in to keep their skills sharp.
